Lord of Hosts Church Promise Kids Ministry is thrilled to have the opportunity to minister to your child during this year’s Opening the Heavens Conference! For your convenience, the OTH Kids ministry is for 6-12 year olds and will be onsite at the Mid-America Center in a separate part of the building not far from the main arena.

​

Calling all young patriots! Get ready to embark on an exhilarating adventure at this year's OTH Kids - where faith and freedom unite to ignite young hearts and minds!

Fun!  Our event is packed with patriotic activities, bounce houses, and thrilling games designed to ignite your child's imagination and celebrate the spirit of freedom.

 

Life Lessons Throughout the event, we will explore bible stories such as the Good Samaritan and Nehemiah's faithfulness. These lessons will empower children to understand their role in God's plan for them and our nation, and strengthen their faith.

 

Live Performances  Experience live performances that showcase the rich tapestry of American culture and heritage. Your child will have the chance to sing, dance, and be amazed!

 

Friendship and Fellowship This event is not just about activities—it's a chance for your child to connect with other young patriots and build friendships that will last a lifetime. Together, they will learn, grow, and create unforgettable memories.

KEY ITEMS REGARDING OTH KIDS

 

OTH Kids will be available for children ages 6 to 12 years-old. Due to safety guidelines and concerns, we are not able to receive children younger than 6 years old.

​

We will not be serving snacks so please make sure your child has eaten breakfast, lunch, or dinner prior to dropping them off. 

​

With 100+ children, for simplicity’s sake, if your child is attending OTH Kids you are granting permission for photos/videos of your child to be taken and used by Lord of Hosts Church and/or One Voice Ministries.

​

OTH Kids will be closed during the Partner Luncheon on Saturday, September 14th from 11:30am – 1pm. 

​

OTH Kids opens 30 minutes prior to each service and 30 minutes after each service. Please plan to pick up your children immediately following the services.

​

To ensure we are able to effectively minister to and care for your child’s needs, we ask that you register your children for this event.

​

  • Will I be able to view the event online if I can't attend in person?
    Yes, all sessions for the event will be livestreamed! Here are the ways to watch: Watch at onevoicetv.net, lohchurch.org/watch, or via Facebook Live, YouTube, Roku, or Amazon Fire
  • Do I need to register to watch online?
    Registration is only needed to attend in person. Registration is not required to view OTH services online.
  • Is there a fee for registration to attend in person?
    Registration for this event is FREE!
  • Are kids allowed to go to the event since it will be held in the arena?
    Individuals who are 12 years of age or older will be eligible for seating in the arena for all sessions. Individuals ages 6 to 12 are welcome to be a part of OTH Kids! You can register your child for OTH Kids in the link below: https://www.openingtheheavens.org/childcare
  • What if I have kids younger than age 12?
    Since the conference is taking place in an arena we do not have the necessary accommodations to provide childcare for infants to preschool-aged children.   • Where is the Mid-America Center located?
    The Mid-America Center is in Council Bluffs which is just across the river from downtown Omaha. The full address is listed below: Mid-America Center 1 Arena Way Council Bluffs, IA 51501
  • I was in the middle of registering, but didn't get to the end. Do I need to do it again?
    Yes, to be on the safe side, please register again. Be sure to click the “Complete Conference Registration” button at the bottom of the registration page when finished.
  • Are there room blocks for hotels close to the Mid-America Center?
    Yes. You can find this information by clicking the "Hotels" tab at the top of the webpage.

  • I registered, but I have not received an email confirmation. Do you have my information?
    As long as you were able to click through the “Complete Conference Registration” button at the bottom of the registration page when you first registered, we will have your information accounted for in our database.
